SALES PLANNING COORDINATOR

About this position....:
Candidate will be responsible for supporting the Sales Planning Manager and fresh sales department by creating, coordinating, and maintaining a structured process that identifies profitable avocado sales opportunities. The role will also assist in informing the sales management team of supply - demand/production-sales trends; also identify inventory challenges and their root causes. Will assist in tracking selling prices and refine our ability to understand and correct variances.



Will assist Sales Planning Manager in developing sales planning and reporting models, analyzing gross margins and profits, assess profitability of selling prices, participate in the communication to the fresh sales department and field teams to aid in the development of profitable sales strategies, track top tier customer demand, assist in the preparation of the daily and weekly market report, perform shipping/receiving functions for virtual warehouses and ad-hoc reporting. Extensive data entry/maintenance of database of historical company and industry data.

Requirements for this position....:
Requirements for this position include the ability to perform the essential functions of the position, an AA degree from an accredited college or university or the equivalent of education and experience, a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supportive/analytical position in a sales environment, preferably in the agriculture/produce industry (experience working in the avocado industry highly preferred), excellent communication in English, both oral and written, solid customer service skills, ability to analyze and resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations, proficient PC skills (must be able to demonstrate strong capabilities in Excel with tables, pivot tables and formulas) and be proficient in data entry skills (speed/accuracy).
